DATED : 16th JULY, 2024 This petition takes exception to the order dated 07.05.2024, passed by the respondent No.1 - District Collector, Washim in Appeal No. 25/2023-24.

The respondent No.3 who is the mother of the petitioner, had filed an application under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, before the respondent No.2 - Sub-Divisional Officer.

By order dated 22.12.2023, respondent No.2 - Sub-Divisional Officer has allowed the said application and directed the petitioner to hand over the possession of house property owned by the respondent No.3. By the order impugned the respondent No.1 has dismissed the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order of respondent No.2.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the order impugned.

Admittedly, the respondent No.3 - mother is owner of the house in question. No jurisdictional error is pointed in the orders impugned. No interference is thus called for in the orders impugned. The petition is dismissed. No costs.
