Learned counsel for the respondent has drawn attention of this Court to the affidavit-in-reply filed on record indicating execution of fresh lease deed on 22/07/2024 by petitioner - Municipal Council in favour of the respondent. It is his further submission that the respondent is regularly paying rent as directed by the District Court in Misc. Civil Appeal No.14/2024. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the factum of the execution of the lease deed by the Municipal Council in favour of the respondent in respect of subject matter of the petition.

In view of the subsequent developments, nothing survives in this petition for decision. Hence, petition stands disposed of.

Interim relief granted by this Court vide order dated 16/07/2024 stands vacated.

Irrespective of the fact that this petition is disposed, the Trial Court to decide the suit on its own merits.
