It is revealed from the record that respondent no.3/Acquiring Body, on 17.05.2012, has already deposited the compensation amount with the office of respondent no.2. Since then i.e. now for 13 years, the said amount is lying with the respondent no.2 for the reason that the petitioner has not filed an Affidavit in format as per the notice dated 14.05.2012.

On the contrary, the petitioner stated that he had already produced a consent letter with an affidavit dated 13.06.2012 to the offfice of respondent no.2 in response to the above said notice.

In view of this factual position, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondent nos. 1 and 2/State seeks a week's time to make a statement within how much time period, the amount lying with the respondent no. 2 would be disbursed in the name of the petitioner along with the interest.
