The petitioners claim to be the owners of the land at Mouza Talegaon and Fubgaon. Based on the notification issued under sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Maharashtra Project Affected Persons Rehabilitation Act, 1999 on 12-12-2018, the counsel for the petitioners would claim that the petitioners' land is submerged in a project and as such it is mandatory for the respondents to get the sale-deed executed or to acquire the land.

When confronted, the counsel for the petitioners seeks time to demonstrate that the land owned by the petitioners is submerged or is affected by the execution of the project.
