Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to amend the petition. Leave granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

Heard Mr. S.S. Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. H.R.Dhumale, learned AGP for respondent/State and Mr. K. P. Mahalle and Mr. R. S. Bhoyar, learned counsels for respondent no. 4.

The petitioner has challenged the order dated 22.09.2017 passed under Section 18 (4) of Maharashtra MoneyLending (Regulation) Act, 2014 by the Divisional Joint Registrar, Money Lending and Cooperative Socieities, Amravati in Appeal No. 31/2016.

The learned counsel for the respondents, pointed out that the petitioner has an alternate and equally efficacious remedy of filing a revision under Section 9 of the Maharashtra Money-Lending (Regulation) Act, 2014 before the Registrar General of Money Lending, Maharashtra State, Pune.

In view thereof, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file revision before Registrar General of Money Lending, Maharashtra State, Pune within a period of six weeks from today. The parties to appear before the authority on 26.11.2025. Revision to be decided by the authority within a period of 3 months.

The delay caused while prosecuting the present petition shall be considered by the Revisional Authority while deciding the petitioner's application for condonation of delay, from the date of filing of the petition.

The interim protection granted earlier shall continue to operate for a period of six weeks from today. Upon expiry of the said period, the interim protection shall stand vacated automatically without futher reference to the Court. (Siddheshwar S. Thombre, J) Shubham
