Drawing support from Rule 30 of Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1982, it is urged that the services of petitioner on the post of Senior Assistant (Accounts) at Zilla Parishad Amravati were against the sanctioned post even if such services are temporary in nature. In view of the aforesaid Rule, the service period from the year 2002 ought to have been considered for calculating the pensionable service.

Issue notice for final disposal of the matter to the respondents, returnable on 12/02/2025.
