ATE : MARCH 24, 2025 1) Though the petitioner has applied for the post of Junior Draftsman with the respondent No.2, he has not been considered, as it is stated that he is possessing higher qualification than that prescribed for the said post. 2) Possessing higher qualification than what is prescribed can not be considered as an impediment for being appointed to a post for which a lower qualification is prescribed, we therefore, allow the petition by directing the respondent No.2, to consider the candidature of the petitioner No.2 for the post of Junior Draftsman. The same shall be done within a period of four weeks from today. No costs.
