Learned Advocate for respondent No.9 submits that, although the instant petition is with respect to the challenge to the no confidence motion passed against the petitioner, during the pendency of the petition, the petitioner is held to be disqualified under Section 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act. He, therefore, submits that the petition has become infructuous.
