The petitioner going to have been awarded punishment of reduction in the rank to the post of Assistant Teacher from the Head Master against which, substantive appeal is informed to be pending under Section 9 of the Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) Act, 1977 before the Tribunal. 3.

It is the contention in the petition that another punishment of withholding of two increments with permanent effect is also imposed and as such there are two punishments for the same default. 4.

Issue notice final disposal to the respondents, returnable on 26th November, 2024.
