Our attention is invited to the order dated 18th February, 2025 delivered in Writ Petition No.5291/2017 (Sudhir Ramchandra Mukwane and others Vs. State of Maharashtra and others). It is urged by Mr. Warulkar that the issue sought to be canvassed in the present petition is identical to the one which is considered and dealt with in the above referred Writ Petition No.5291/2017.

When confronted, the counsel appearing for the respondents does not, on facts, dispute the aforesaid position. 4.

In that view of the matter, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition in terms of the above referred order dated 18th February, 2025 delivered in Writ Petition No.5291/2017. 5.

As such, we direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for the reasons recorded in the aforesaid order and consider the decision taken within a period of twelve weeks from today.
