Mr. Dhengale, learned counsel for the petitioners, upon instructions, does not press prayer Clause-1 of the petition. The statement is accepted as a statement to the Court. The prayer Clause-2 merely seeks a direction to the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to appoint the petitioners as contractual teachers with the Zilla Parishad Amravati against the existing vacancies of teachers till such time regular appointments are made. In case the petitioners KHUNTE

46-wp5361.24.odt 2/2 satisfy the requirement, for such appointment, the case of the petitioners may be considered as and when the need arises for appointment in the existing vacancies, as a stopgap arrangement till such time a regular appointee is not available. We, therefore, dispose of the petition in the above terms. No costs.
