By this petition, the petitioner-husband has challenged the order dated 22.07.2024, passed by the family court, on an application at Exhibit 10, by which the court had issued notice to the respondent as to why appropriate action should not be initiated under Section 340 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for making false statement in reply. The petitioner has also challenged the order dated 22.07.2024, on the same application at Exhibit 10, by which the court had directed the petitioner to pay maintenance pendent lite @ Rs.20,000/- per month to the respondent-wife from the date of filing of application i.e. 12.10.2023 till the decision of main petition. 2.

Having regard to the controversy involved, the petitionerhusband is directed to deposit the entire amount of arrears of maintenance till today, within a period of four weeks from today. 3.

After the amount of arrears of maintenance is deposited, the petition will be taken up for further consideration. 4.

List this petition on 23rd January 2026.
