Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

An alternate prayer is sought by the petitioner in prayer clause (4), which reads thus:

"4. Alternatively it is prayed to issue necessary writ, direction or order to decide the legal notice/representation dtd. 22.02.2024 (Annexure-2) after conducting appropriate enquiry and after hearing the petitioners within a stipulated time of 2 months or as the time stipulation as may be directed by this Hon'ble Court."

Since the aforesaid prayer is innocuous, we direct the respondent-authorities to consider and decide the said legal notice/representation within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

The learned counsel for the petitioner/s undertakes to furnish copy of this order to the respondent-authorities within two weeks from today.

The decision taken shall be communicated to the nd.thawre

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
