Heard the matter for sometime.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has relied upon the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads District Services (Recruitment) Rules, 1967 and more particularly Appendix-V, Sub-Clauses (ix) and (x) of the said Rules, to state that the qualification prescribed therein is applicable to the post which is advertised by the Respondent-Zilla Parishad.

On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent-Zilla Parishad has placed on record the Marathi version of the same Rules, wherein the qualification for the same post is otherwise. 4.

In the circumstances, the State Government is to clarify whether the English version of Appendix-V or Marathi version of Appendix-V is correct and applicable in the matter, so also clarify why there is a difference of criteria of qualification in the English version and Marathi version for the post of Nurse-Midwife and Auxiliary NurseMidwife. 5.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the Respondent-State to make a statement in this regard by filing specific affidavit on record within two weeks. 6.
