ATE : OCTOBER 10 , 2024 The learned Counsel for the petitioner has specifically placed reliance upon the decision in case of Priya Pramod Gajbe vs. The State of Maharashtra and others reported in (2023) 9 S.C.R. 1261 and it is his specific contention that the Apex Court had directed that the entry "Mani" has to be read as entry "Mana" and therefore, according to him, despite the fact that the pre-Constitutional entries which have been gathered by the Vigilance Cell read as "Mani", he should be given the benefit by construing them as "Mana".

Since We are not inclined to grant the interim relief today, since the petitioner is in the admission process, the learned Counsel request the matter to be taken up for final hearing.

2) At his request, the matter be listed on 19/11/2024 for final disposal. In the meantime, the respondents are at liberty to file their affidavits-in-reply.
