Upon the matter being mentioned at 10.30 AM in the wake of urgency expressed by Mr. Khajanchi, learned counsel for the petitioners, we directed the matter to be taken at 1.15 PM, provided the contesting respondent is served.

After serving a copy of the writ petition on the Municipal Corporation of City of Chandrapur, Advocate Mr. M.I. Dhatrak marked his presence. He candidly admit that some portion of the

1wp5700.24 subject building has been demolished and he contested the submission of Advocate Mr. Khajanchi that the demolition is without any notice.

We deem it appropriate to grant him some time to place before us the necessary and essential facts and for this purpose, we direct listing of the petition to 27.09.2024 on the supplementary board.

In the meantime, we direct the Corporation to maintain status quo as on today at 1.30 PM.
