NANDESH S. DESHPANDE, J.) Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. Heard finally with the consent of learned Counsels for the parties.

This is the petition filed for seeking direction to the respondents to decide the representations dated 07.12.2023, 20.11.2023, 18.12.2023 and 05.12.2023 which are at Annexure - B to E to the petition forthwith and thereby granting legitimate benefit to the petitioners as per demands. When being questioned the learned counsel for the petitioner states that his grievance would be ventilated if a directions is issued to the authority i.e. respondent no. 1 to decide the said representations in accordance with Rules in that regard.

In that view of the matter, without going into the merits and keeping all the rival claims open, we direct the respondent no. 1 to decide the representations dated 07.12.2023, 20.11.2023,
WP No.5800.24.odt 4/5 18.12.2023 and 05.12.2023 within four weeks from the date of receipt of the order. We request the learned AGP to communicate the order to the said authority.

The learned counsel for the petitioners on instructions states that he would appear before the authority i.e. the respondent no. 1 on 20.01.2026. The parties i.e. the petitioners as well as the respondents herein are permitted to file such additional documents as according to them are required for adjudication of the matter. 5.
The respondent no. 1 i.e. the State of Maharashtra, Through its Secretary, Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, Mantrayala, Mumbai is directed to decide the representations in accordance with law within four weeks from 20.01.2026 when the petitioners would cause their appearance.

Needless to mention that the authority expected to give hearing to all the parties concerned and thereafter, adjudicate upon the representations of the same.
