The petitioner was serving Sarpanch against whom, the no-confidence motion was moved which was passed by majority of votes. The very fact that the petitioner does not hold confidence of majority was considered by the authorities.

In view thereof, I do not find any reason to interfere with the order passed by the Collector. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
