Heard Shri. S. Y. Dunedar holding for Shri. P. R. Agrawal, learned counsel for the petitioners and Shri R. D. Dharmadhikari, learned counsel for respondents. 2.

The only relief that the petitioners are seeking is a direction to the respondents - Corporation to consider and decide the representations dated 05.04.2024 and 08.04.2024, submitted by the petitioners, taking into consideration condition No. 8 of the lease deeds dated 17.04.2000 and 27.10.1995. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though the representations were made way back in the year 2024, it is almost two years now that such representations are not yet decided by the respondents - Corporation. 4.

In view of the innocuous prayer made by the petitioners, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.1 - Amravati Municipal Corporation to decide the aforesaid representations dated 05.04.2024 and 08.04.2024, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a stipulated period of eight weeks from the date of production of the order of

4 WP-5981-2024 this Court. The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioners, within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision.
