Learned counsel for the petitioner has restricted his prayer to the extent that respondent Nos. 1 and 2 be directed to decide the application/letter/representation dated 01.06.2024 at the earliest.

Mr. D.M. Ailani, h/f Mr. U.J. Deshpande, learned counsel for respondent No. 2, submitted that a necessary direction be issued to the respondents in this regard. 3.

Having considered the facts of the case, the limited prayer, and the fact that the representation has been pending with respondent Nos. 1 and 2 since June 1, 2024, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition by directing the Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to decide the representation dated 1st June, 2024, within a period of eight weeks from today and inform the decision to the petitioner.
