The petitioner Nos.2 and 3 Ashram Schools are managed by the petitioner No.1 - Society. The said Ashram Schools are having residential facility and as on today, the capacities claimed to be 240 and 320 students in petitioner Nos.2 and 3 Schools respectively. As against, the sanctioned teaching staff is 15 and 23 and sanctioned nonteaching staff is 10 and 16 in petitioner Nos.2 and 3 Schools respectively. The post of Hostel Superintendent in both the Schools is informed to be vacant for a long time. 2.

A proposal forwarded by the petitioners to that effect is pending consideration with the respondents. 3.

Since the proposal to that effect is not decided, the petitioners have sought issuance of direction. 4.

The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that in the facts and circumstances the Court may pass an appropriate order.

In this background, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to take decision in the

2 912.wp.6191.24 matter of proposal for permission to fill-in the post of Hostel Superintendent as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of two months from the date of production of this order.

The petition stands partly allowed.
