Original Application No.857 of 2020 referred by the petitioner came to be allowed vide order dated 27/09/20223 to which the Divisional Commissioner was party as respondent No.2 and Collector, Yavatmal as party respondent No.3. The directions were issued to the respondents to grant deemed date of promotion to the petitioner from 05/03/2013 with all consequential benefits. The non compliance prompted the petitioner to approach in Contempt Proceedings No.57 of 2024, wherein the respondent No.3 Collector, Yavatmal reported compliance and as such the Contempt Petition was disposed of. 3.

Once, the directions were issued to the respondents including that of Commissioner by the Kavita

926-wp-6229-24.odt 2/2 Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, the least that was expected of the Tribunal was to ensure compliance of the said directions even at the Divisional Commissioner level, which Tribunal has not looked into.

In this background, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with directions to the respondent No.2-Divisional Commissioner, Amravati to take appropriate steps at it's level for the compliance of the order of the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal referred above and communicate the compliance to the petitioner within a period of eights weeks from the date of production of this order.

Writ Petition stands disposed of.
