The prayer in the present petition is for a direction to the respondents to expeditiously decide, within a stipulated period, the petitioner's application for mutation of his name in the revenue records (7/12 extract), which is annexed at Annexure-E.

Mr. Ukey, learned Additional Government Pleader, has tendered across the bar a communication dated 27th January, 2026, issued by the Tahsildar, Nagpur, indicating that a decision has been taken by the authorities on the petitioner's application and the same has been forwarded to the Hon'ble Revenue Minister, Maharashtra State, Mumbai, through the Collector, Nagpur.

In view of the above, nothing survives in the present petition, and it is accordingly disposed of as infructuous. No costs.
