The petitioner is claiming that he was appointed as Kotwal, however, pursuant to the impugned order dated 14/10/2024 passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, Nagpur Bench, Nagpur, the said appointment was quashed and set aside.

The area for which the appointment of the petitioner is made by the respondents is bifurcated. It is the case of the petitioner that after bifurcation, there shall be fresh appointment on the new post created for the bifurcated area and as such, his candidature needs to be considered.

The petitioner claims to have made a representation dated 18/11/2024 to that effect, which is produced along with the amendment application, which is pending with the office of Tahsildar.

According to the petitioner, the petition be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the said representation in accordance with law. 6.

As such, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.

Tahsildar is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18/11/2024 in accordance with law.
