DATED : 20th February, 2026 The co-ordinate bench of this Court at Aurangabad while issuing notice in the matter on 15/10/2024 has recorded the preliminary objection of the learned Assistant Government Pleader. that the petitioners have an alternate remedy and thus by keeping the said point open, writ petition was transferred.

The petition after transfer was listed before this Court on 17/02/2026, however none appeared for the petitioners on that day. Hence to give one opportunity, the petition was kept today. However, even today, none appears for the petitioners. 3.

Perusal of the prayer clause so also the contents of the petition reveal that the petitioners are seeking employment on compassionate ground with State Reserve Police Force. Thus, the petitioners have an alternate remedy of approaching the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal for seeking the aforesaid relief.

In view of the aforesaid remedy, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, Nagpur for raising their grievance. No costs. 5.
