Heard Mr. Parvez Mirza, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. Gauri Venkatramanm, learned counsel for respondent No.1.

Mrs. Gauri Venkatramanm has invited our attention to the work order dated 26th November 2024 which is at record page No.184- Annexure- R1-13.

Mrs. Gauri Venkatramanm, learned counsel for respondent No.1 has made a statement before this Court that the work order which was issued in favour of respondent No.2
104-WP-6675-2024.odt 2/2 has been executed and the period mentioned in the work order is over.

Mr. Parvez Mirza, learned counsel for the petitioner, however, tried to insist for grant of damages in view of alleged illegalities committed by respondent No.1 while issuing work order to the respondent No.2.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, we dispose of the present petition as infructuous as the challenge in the present writ petition was to the work order issued by the respondent No.1 to respondent No.2, whose period is now over. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach Civil Court for claiming damages from respondent No.1.

Needless to mention that the contentions raised in the present writ petition are kept open.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.

In view of the disposal of the petition, pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
