The issue sought to be canvassed is similar to one which is canvassed in Writ Petition No.6705/2024, which is also preferred by the brother of the petitioner. It appears that based on joint measurement in which it is discovered that the National Highway Authorities has encroached on the land of the petitioner which is used for the construction of highway, a proposal for acquisition is already submitted. However, such proposal appears to have been not taken to its logical end.

That being so, issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 07.01.2025.
