The Vehicle bearing Truck No.MH-04-DK-2236 was seized alleging that the Petitioner was transporting the eight brass of sand without royalty pass. The Tahsildar/Respondent No.3, issued notice to the Petitioner on 11.09.2023 and 30.11.2023. The Petitioner filed his submission on 04.04.2024. 2.
It appears that vide order dated 15.05.2024, the Tahsildar imposed penalty of Rs.2,13,312/-. Thereafter, by the order of Sub Divisional Officer, Rs.1,00,000/- penalty was imposed.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that he is ready to deposit total amount of penalty imposed by Tahsildar i.e. Rs.2,13,312/- and 50% of the amount of penalty imposed by the Sub Divisional
2 915-WP No.6876.2024 Officer i.e. Rs.50,000/-. As such, total amount of Rs.2,63,312/- is ready to deposit by the Petitioner. 4.
As such, the Respondents are directed to released the Vehicle bearing Truck No.MH-04-DK2236 on depositing the penalty amount of Rs.2,63,312/- within a period of one week.

List the matter after vacation for final disposal at the stage of admission on 19.06.2025.
