Issue notice of contempt to Mr. Vishal Giri, Police Inspector, Police Station, Khapa as to why contempt proceedings should not be initiated against him and he should not be punished for contempt of Court for non-complying the orders of the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Court No.3, Saoner, District Nagpur passed on 14.8.2024 in Cri.M.A. No.229/2024 (Vinod Gupta V/s. State) and 9.10.2024 in Cri.M.A. No.300/2024 (Vinod V/s. State). The contempt notice is caused for the reason that inspite of there being two orders to release the vehicle which were passed almost 3 to 4 months back, the said officer has not released the vehicle. Such an act on the part of the Police Officer Mr. Vishal Giri is viewed as serious mala fide intention to undermine the authority of the Court and its orders. 2.

The Police Officer Mr. Giri is physically present in the Court and waives service of notice of contempt.

Let the contempt notice be responded by filling an affidavit on or before 6.1.2025.

The matter be listed for hearing on 8.1.2025.

We direct the said officer to physically remain present before this Court during the course of hearing.

Issue notice for final disposal of the writ petition to the respondents, returnable on 8.1.2025.
