The present writ petition, filed on 27th November, 2024, was listed before this Court on 20th December, 2024. After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court directed the petitioners to deposit an amount of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs only) in this Court to show their bona fides. The aforesaid amount was required to be deposited on or before 8th January, 2025.

However, after the said order was passed, neither the amount was deposited nor the matter was listed before this Court. When the matter is taken up today, it is noted that the petitioners have not deposited the amount even after the lapse of more than one year, nor the learned counsel for the petitioners appeared before this Court.

In view of the above, the present writ is dismissed for want of prosecution. No costs.
