1. Learned counsel for the petitioner has invited our attention to the order dated 7.10.2019 where respondent, i.e Secretary of village Panchayt was directed to issue necessary notice to the fourth respondent and pursuant to the notice being issued, pass necessary orders contemplated by law. The mandumus was directed to be complied with by passing the necessary order, within two weeks of receipt of a certified copy or an authenticated copy of the order.

2. We are informed that till date, there is no compliance.

3. Mr Faldessai, who has instructions to represent the village panchayat, shall file an affidavit of the Secretary explaining to us the time gap since the passing of the order on 7.10.2019 and as to why no 8th April, 2025

WP 18 of 2025 action has been initiated till date.

4. Let the affidavit be filed on or before 22.4.2025.

5. The private respondent is also permitted to file an affidavit.

6. Renotify to 24.4.2025.
