IN THE HIGH COURT OF BOMBAY AT GOA
WRIT PETITION NO.365 OF 2024 BEMVINDA DO PERPETUA SOCORRO ... PETITIONER
Versus
UNION OF INDIA, THR. THE MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS AND 3 ORS ... RESPONDENTS None present for the Petitioner.
Mr. Pravin Faldessai, Deputy Solicitor General of India for the Respondents.
CORAM:- BHARATI DANGRE & NIVEDITA P. MEHTA, JJ.
DATED :- 10th June, 2025 P.C.
None for the petitioner.
2. Mr Faldessai, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India makes a categorical statement that the petition deserves disposal as the petitioner has been granted the OCI card registration under the Citizenship Act, 1955 on 16.12.2024 and the petitioner has collected the same on 15.1.2025.
3. This probably is the reason why the petitioner is not represented before us. In any case reserving the liberty of the petitioner to approach this Court for modification of the order if the contingency arises, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition by accepting 10th June, 2025
WP 365 of 2024 the statement made by Mr Faldessai.
