1. We had heard the matter fully, however, before the order could be passed, show cause notice came to be decided by the order impugned which is now challenged by way of an amendment. Ms. Desai learned senior standing counsel for the respondents prayed for some time to file an affidavit in reply to the amendment. However, as the question of jurisdiction was raised which was already heard, we are of the opinion that in the first instance we decide the issue of jurisdiction and 17th February, 2025

WP 723 of 2024 if necessary, grant an opportunity to the learned counsel for the respondent to raise a contest to the order impugned by way of the amendment.

2. In view of these developments, list the matter on 25/02/2025 for passing orders.
