By these applications, the petitioners seek permission to amend the petition.

By first amendment application, it is submitted that, due to inadvertent mistake, some provisions of law are not properly quoted in the prayer clause and therefore, the applicants want to amend the prayer clause to that effect. By second amendment application, the petitioners want to place on record the subsequent events and additional grounds which were raised during the pendency of the petition.

There is no objection to the other side to allow the present applications. As such, the applications are allowed. The amendment to be carried out within a period of one week.

The respondents are entitled to file additional submissions to the amended petition within a period of three weeks thereafter.

Accordingly, the applications stand disposed of.
