DATE : 17TH FEBRUARY, 2025 This is an application seeking amendment in the petition, as during the pendency of the petition, the Government of India issued an office memorandum dated 29/03/2023; therefore, the petitioner desires to bring the said memorandum on record. Having considered the reasons stated in the application and the fact that the petition is yet to be admitted and, in our view, to decide the controversy involved in the matter, it would be appropriate to allow the application as prayed for. Hence, considering the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and disposed of. The petitioner is directed to carry out the amendment within a period of one week and supply a copy of the amended petition to the respondents within a week thereafter.
