The present applications are filed for grant of permission to amend the petition.

It is submitted that, the respondent no. 3 is claiming seniority over the petitioner on the basis of benefits secured by him under Carrier Advancement Scheme due to which allegedly respondent no. 3 is claiming to be the senior most professor. It is alleged that the benefits granted to respondent no. 3 is illegal and contrary to the Government Resolutions as mentioned in the respective applications. In view thereof, the applicant/ petitioner wants to amend the petition as well as prayer Clause.

Though the learned counsel for respondent no. 3 opposed to allow the applications, for the reasons stated in

2 923-CAW 827-24 in WP 2154-23.odt the applications and in the interest of justice, the applications are allowed, however, by keeping all the questions open to argue at the time of final hearing. 4.

The amendment to be carried out within a period of one week.

After amendment is carried out, two weeks' time is granted to the respondents to file additional submission, if any.
