DATE :
08/07/2024 The petitioner, Educational Institution is seeking directions to respondent No.1 NCTE to incorporate petitioner - institution in Central Admission Process for B.Ed. Admission course for the academic session 2024-2025. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the said process would commence on 12/07/2024. According to the petitioner, similar relief was granted by this Court last year vide order dated 23/08/2023, on the background that the order of withdrawal of recognition was stayed in the year 2021.
(2) 30 caw 1675-2024 2.
The learned Counsel for respondent would submit that while obtaining stay, there was mis-statement and secondly, the process of verification is going on. It is submitted that the meeting is scheduled in last week of July to take appropriate decision. Apparently, if petitioner's urge is suspended, then the petitioner would not be in a position to admit the students. Moreover, having regard to the interim order based on the stay, petitioner's name was included in Central Admission Process and by virtue of that students have been already admitted. We see no reason to deviate from the said course adopted. In view of above interim relief in terms of prayer Clause - (ii) is granted, until further orders.
3.
Likewise, it is clarified that this arrangement is purely interim in nature and petitioner shall not claim any equity or right in that regard. The students shall be put to notice of the aforesaid order and the fact that the present petition is still pending.
4.
The State Common Entrance Cell of respondent No.4 while publishing list of colleges shall also put a note regarding pendency of this petition pertaining to petitioner - institution. 5.
Stand over after four weeks.
