CAW No. 1864/2024 IN Writ Petition No. 1089/2024 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 26.07.2024 This application is taken out for substituted service under Order 5 Rule 20 of Civil Procedure Code upon the respondent no. 10. It is stated in the application that service by normal mode and even by RPAD could not be effected on the aforesaid respondent. It is stated that the respondent is residing on the given address which is the last known address of the said respondent. Therefore, the applicant wants to serve the aforesaid respondent by affixing copy of notice on the wall of the house of the respondent and at the office of respondent no.1.

Considering the reasons mentioned in the application and the bailiff report, the applicant is permitted to serve the aforesaid respondent by affixing the notice on the conspicuous place or outer door.

Service of notice be effected on the aforesaid respondent no.10 by affixing copy of notice on some conspicuous part or outer door of the house on the last known address of the aforesaid respondent in terms of Order V Rule 20(1) of C.P.C.

Writ Petition No. 1089/2024 Three weeks time is granted for taking steps against R. No. 2, 3 and 6 who are reported to be dead and also for taking steps against R.No. 4 for appointment of guardian.
