The petitioner moved this application to permit him to amend the petition as during pendency of the petition, the Hon'ble Supreme Court rendered decision and also circular was issued against the decision given by the Hon'ble Apex Court and, therefore, he wants to bring those facts on record. The learned Advocate for the respondent Nos.1 and 2 vehemently opposed the application on the ground that the reasons stated in the application are not proper to permit the petitioner to amend the petition.

Considering the reasons stated in the application as well as the fact that the matter is yet

2 2-CAW-2117-2024.odt to be admitted, we deem it appropriate to allow the application. Hence, the following order.

ORDER

1. The application is allowed.

2. The petitioner is permitted to carry out the amendment today itself.

3. If the petitioner fails to carry out the amendment during the course of the day, then the application shall stand rejected without reference to the Court.

4. Upon carrying out the amendment, the amended copy of the petition be supplied to the other side by 21.02.2025 and the respondents shall file reply, if any, within two weeks thereafter.

5. List the petition after two weeks.
