The petitioner has moved this application to permit it to amend the petition, as respondent No.2 raised the objection that, in view of the provisions of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984, and the rules, the Veterinary Council of India is a necessary party to the petition.

Learned advocates for the respondents have not objected to the same.

Considering the reasons stated in the application and no objection of the other side, the application is allowed, as prayed for.

The petitioner is permitted to carry out the amendment within a week and supply a copy of the amended petition to the respondents within a week thereafter.

Upon adding the respondent - Veterinary Council of India as respondent No.3, issue a notice to it, returnable after four weeks.
