This is an application for condonation of delay of 483 days caused in filing the appeal.

Considering the reasons mentioned in the application and the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties coupled with the fact that the scheme of compensation is a beneficial legislation, the delay caused in filing appeal is condoned. 4.

It is made clear that the appellants will not be entitled to interest for the delayed period on the amount of compensation and other components, if the appeal is allowed.
