CAF No. 1597/2024 IN First Appeal No. 706/2019 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 02.07.2024 This application is taken out for substituted service under Order 5 Rule 20 of Civil Procedure Code upon the respondent nos. 1 and 2 . It is stated in the application that the aforesaid respondents could not be served for want of correct address. It is stated that the applicants tried their level best to trace out the address of the aforesaid respondents but the same could not be found and they are trying to avoid the service of notice. Therefore, the applicant wants to serve the aforesaid respondents by affixing copy of notice on the wall of the house of the respondents.

Considering the reasons mentioned in the application and the bailiff report, the applicant is permitted to serve the aforesaid respondents by affixing the notice on the conspicuous place or outer door.

Service of notice be effected on the aforesaid respondents by affixing copy of notice on some conspicuous part or outer door of the house on the last known address of the aforesaid respondent in terms of Order V Rule 20(1) of C.P.C.
