This is an application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act seeking condonation of delay of 722 days caused in filing the appeal challenging the order passed by the Land Acquisition Authority. This appeal is of Acquiring Body which has stated the reasons about the delay.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable after six weeks.

The appellant Acquiring body is seeking stay to the execution of impugned of Award. The appellant is ready to deposit entire decreetal amount within twelve weeks in this Court.

In view of the above, execution of impugned award is stayed subject to the appellant depositing entire decreetal amount within twelve weeks in this Court. CIVIL APPLICATION NO. 2092 OF 2024 Heard.

The interveners has seeks for direction that the compensation amount shall not be released to the claimant as the dispute about title is pending for adjudication in Special Civil Suit No.21 of 2017. 4.
