CAS No. 420/2024 in Second Appeal No. 588/2007 with S.A. No. 589/2007 Coram : Registrar (Judicial) Dated : 20.06.2024 Smt. S.W. Deshpande has filed the present appliction seeking withdrawal of her Vakalatnama on behalf of appellant. The counsel states that she filed Vakalatnama on behalf of appellant on 23.07.2023, however, when it came to the knowledge that she had already filed Vakalatnama on behalf of respondent nos. 3 to 8, the counsel sent legal notice dated 16.10.2023 to the appellant intimating for withdrawal of her Vakalatanama. The counsel further states that inspite of the legal notice, no instruction has been received from the appellant in this regard. Thus, the counsel wants to withdraw her Vakalatnama on behalf of the appellant. The letter dated 16.10.2023 issued to the appellant and postal receipt with acknowledgment is annexed with the application.

As per office note dated 07.06.2024, the present Counsel Smt. S.W. Deshpande has already filed Vakalatnama for respondent nos. 3 to 8 vide St. No. 3340/2008 on 17.03.2008.

In view of the above and considering the submissions made the application, the same is allowed. Advocate Smt. S.W. Deshpande is discharged as a counsel for the appellant. Office to issue notice to the appellant for engagement of another counsel, returnable within six weeks. (Ravindra M.
