CAN No. 22/2024 in C.P. No. 134/2023 In Writ Petition No. 2075/2020 (D) Coram : Registrar (Judicial) Dated : 13.03.2024 By this application, the applicant/petitioner prays for substitute the name of Secretary of respondent no.1 by way of amendment.

It is stated in the application that the the Secretary of respondent no.1 General Department of Maharashtra State i.e. Shri Manukumar Shrivastava has retired and on inquiry it has been revealed that one Shri Nitin Kareer is the Chief Secretary of the respondent no.1 Department. Thus, the petitioner prays that name of Shri Manukumar Shrivastava may be permitted to be substituted with the name of Shri Nitin Kareer as the Secretary of the respondent no.1.

Since the application is formal in nature and supported by affidavit, the same is allowed. Permission is granted to substitute/incorporate the name of the newly appointed Secretary of the respondent no.1 in the cause title.

Necessary amendments be carried out in the cause title of the petition. Thereafter office to issue notice to the aforesaid respondent, returnable within six weeks.
