The learned Counsel for the applicant/ respondent no.1 seeks permission to furnish solvent surety in terms of order dated 28/6/2017.

CIVIL APPLICATION NO. 384/2024 IN CROSS OBJECTION ST. NO. 4423/2024 IN FIRST APPEAL NO. 744/2017 4] The applicant is seeking to condone delay of 2415 days in filing cross objection on the count that the applicant is a village rustic person. He suffered heavy financial loss (on what count is absent). He suffered loss of source of livelihood because of acquisition of land. He received some amount (not disclosed) as compensation but was not sufficient to met expenses for his livelihood. He has, therefore, taken hand loans from his friends and

16-CAF-547-2024 relatives and thereafter decided to file cross objection for enhancement of compensation.

5] The applicant shall place on record the amount received by him till today as also the account of his expenses for livelihood for the period which is sought to be condoned. In addition, the applicant shall place on record details of hand loans taken, which should include amount of hand loans and names of friends and relatives, for passing further orders. The details be furnished on an affidavit.

6] Stand over to 3/4/2024.
