Heard learned advocate for the applicant and learned advocate for the non-applicant.

This is an application for extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator appointed by this Court for completion of the arbitration proceeding.

It is submitted that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator has been terminated on 04.11.2024. It is submitted that the non-applicant is not giving consent for extension of the period before the Arbitrator. Learned advocate for the non-applicant submits that the mandate of the Arbitrator has been terminated and therefore, the extension may not be granted.

I have perused the record and the proceedings. The Arbitral Tribunal has not decided the proceedings on or before 04.11.2024. The mandate of the learned Arbitrator has, therefore, terminated. Learned advocate for the

In the facts and circumstances, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator will have to be extended. Accordingly, the period for completion of the arbitration proceedings is extended by six months w.e.f. 04.11.2024.

Learned Arbitrator shall see that the proceeding is decided within next six months.

7.

The parties shall extend their fullest cooperation to the learned Arbitrator.
