A strong objection is raised by the learned Senior Advocate Mr.M.G.Bhangde, appearing for the respondent No.6 for grant of leave for impleadment of party, as according to him the GMR is neither a necessary nor a proper party. According to him, the GMR is yet to take over the airport as the transfer is to be effected within six months provided the conditions are satisfied. 3.

We overrule the said objection, as it is not in dispute that the airport is under transfer from Mihan to GMR and as such, we deem it appropriate to hear the views of GMR Kavita

That being so, we allow the application.

The amendment to be carried out forthwith.

Civil application stands disposed of.

Issue notice to the added respondent, returnable on 15/01/2025.

It is claimed by the learned amicus curiae that the documents which are produced on record through pursis dated 03/12/2024 are in relation to the operations of runway re-carpeting the runway carried out by the airport authorities at the Calicut International Airport. We have also considered the chart which is downloaded from their website.
