By these PILs a common issue has been raised in public interest, inasmuch as, the PWD of the State Government has allotted the works mostly for laying roads stated to be pursuant to a scheme 1/2

975.PIL.76.24.odt envisaged by the Government Resolution dated 17.11.2017, in spite of the fact that works to be undertaken under that special scheme expressly exclude roads. The exercise is also being challenged on the ground that in spite of the specific stipulation regarding implementation of the scheme and in spite of directions of the Collector, Beed dated 20.09.2024, the allotment of work is not through any E-tender process. 2.

Issue notice to the respondents. Learned Government Pleader waives service for respondent Nos.1 to 5 and 7. If the work orders have not been already issued, those shall not be issued till the next date. Stand over to 03.12.2024.
