This is an application under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act"), seeking extension of the mandate of the arbitrator, which is scheduled to expire on January 20, 2025. 2.

Today, when the matter is called out, Learned Counsel for the parties jointly submit that the extension may be granted for a period of one year from today.

In view of the consensus between the parties, the Application is finally disposed of extending the mandate of the arbitrator by a period of one year from today, i.e, until January 12, 2026.

It is hoped that the parties shall co-operate with the arbitrator, and ensure that the proceedings are finally disposed of within the extended mandate. Interim Applications, if any, connected with this application shall also stand disposed of.
